From November 19th to 21st, 2025, the 2025 Annual Sulfuric Acid Industry Chain Supply and Demand Customer Meeting was held in Chengdu by BaichuanYingfu. Representatives from domestic sulfur, petrochemical, phosphate fertilizer, titanium dioxide, sulfuric acid, and pyrite industries attended the conference. Our company sent representatives to participate in the meeting as well.

BaichuanYingfu released the 2025 China Sulfuric Acid Market Report. From January to September 2025, China's sulfuric acid production volume was 82.65 million tons, an increase of 7.9% year-on-year. From January to October 2025, China's sulfuric acid export volume was 3.6741 million tons, an increase of 102.98% year-on-year. The top three export countries were Chile, Morocco, and Saudi Arabia.

The forecast for the Chinese sulfuric acid market in 2026 are as followed: First, raw material prices will fluctuate at a high level, and the cost remains high stably. Second, sulfuric acid production capacity will continue to increase, and the supply-side pressure will increase as well. Third, traditional downstream demand will be stable, and emerging demand will become a highlight. Fourth, there will be an excess of domestic sulfuric acid production capacity, and efforts will be made to actively export. It is expected that the export volume in 2026 will increase by 10% to 30% year-on-year.
