Dissolving Pulp

Dissolving pulp is bleached wood pulp that has a high alpha-cellulose content (> 90%). It has special properties including a high level of brightness and uniform molecular-weight distribution. Once dissolved, dissolving pulp can be spun into textile fibers, or chemically reacted to produce derivatized celluloses.
